A Favorite Toy

They can't get enough of this bouncy ball, and love taunting each other with it. Usually Isabella is great at fetching and returning a ball to me, but she makes an exception with this one a lot of the time, and tries to keep it for herself.
I think it's the smooth texture and smaller size that fascinates them so much-- that, and all the movement it makes when thrown and bounced around.

  1. We have bouncy balls here too but Mom keeps them in a drawer. She won't let the little bipeds play with them when we are around because she says we might swallow them. Maybe they aren't as big as yours, but we think we could have a lot of fun with one. Besides, what good do they do in a drawer?

Love these two pics - so photogenic and beautiful.

    1. This ball is small enough to fit in their mouths pretty well, so I always watch them pretty closely when they get to play with it, and I never allow them to chew on it for more than a few seconds before I throw it again. I put it out of reach when I don't want them playing with it, or if I'm going to leave the room for long.

  2. Nice shots! Funny how Isabella doesn't like to share that one ball!
