Goober

Once we decided to get another puppy, we started working on picking out a name for him. We went through alot of names. My husband would suggest one, but I wouldn't be sold on it. Then I'd suggest one, and the same thing would happen.

At one point, my husband suggested the name "Goober." I remember telling him, "You can't name a dog Goober!" What a way to start out a dog's life, right?

Turns out, "Goober" would've been a perfect name. He's klutzy (goes up two steps just fine but somehow completely misses the third and is left dangling off the side of the porch as a result-- just one example) and such a goofball in the way he does things.
