I think Molly's gotten more use out of this bed in half a week's time than my dogs have since we bought it for them around Christmastime. :)

I Think I Saw a Kitty Cat!

Unfortunately, I was not quick enough to snap a shot of the neighbor's fluffy, burnt orange colored cat that was hanging out on our front porch early this afternoon before my huskies made enough commotion through the windows to scare it off.

They stood watch at the windows (and on the windowsill, as Jake demonstrates at left) for a good five to ten minutes after the cat took off, looking and waiting for it to return I suppose, but to no avail.

I was attempting to take a photo with Jake the other day-- you'd have thought I was trying to hurt him, the way he kept trying to get away from me-- and before I could take a shot, Isabella came over to see what the fuss was about, and proceeded to sniff the daylights out of my ear. LOL.

Huskies aren't known for fetching, from what I've been told, but Isabella loves it. Granted, she doesn't know the term "fetch," only "Get the ball!" or "Where's the ball?" or "Bring me the ball!". Jake does it sometimes, but he's a bit hit-and-miss. Isabella loves to torture Jake with the tennis ball, though-- she brings it over as if she's going to let him play with it-- that, or she knocks it against somewhere, anywhere, on his body-- until it drives Jake crazy enough to try -- and occasionally succeed -- getting the ball.

A Constant Fascination

Amazing how long they'll stay quiet and preoccupied just looking out the window-- especially if it's open-- at the world outside.

Fun With Camera Awesome :)

I am a photographer, and I LOVE anything and everything to do with photography. Since I currently stay at home, my dogs are constant subjects for me (as can be evidenced by the amount of photos on this blog as well as my photography website). And since I bought my iPhone last year, I'm always on the hunt for apps to use on my phone to enhance some of the photos I take on it.

Inspired by a recent post over on Army of Four's blog, I downloaded Camera Awesome on my iPhone the other day and spent several hours really playing around with it today. I love this app!
I love the filters and presets, and how much quicker it takes shots than the standard camera that comes on my phone.

These photos are some of the examples of time (probably not) well spent. :)
